Sometimes, the holidays are more stressful than joyful.
If the holiday season is bringing you stress, depression, and anxiety, you’re not alone. From looming deadlines to seasonal changes to the stress of holiday celebrations and family time, for many, the holiday season can be far from joyful.
If your mental health is suffering this holiday season, there is hope.
At The Retreat by Sheppard Pratt, we provide private pay, residential mental healthcare for adults who are suffering from depression, anxiety, OCD, co-occurring disorders, and other mental health conditions.
With just 22 private suites, residents at The Retreat have the utmost privacy and highly personalized care from our multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians.
Comprehensive, personalized mental healthcare at The Retreat
Every resident’s stay begins with a diagnostic assessment – our team works to get to the root of your problems so we can develop a personalized, effective treatment plan.
At the same time, we begin providing treatment – maximizing the time you spend working towards hope and healing.
Individualized treatment plans often include:
- Individual therapy: several hours per week with your primary clinician and supporting providers such as family therapists, art therapists, social workers, movement therapists, and wellness coordinators
- Group therapy: up to 35 hours per week of group programming, including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and activity therapy (rock climbing, yoga, art therapy, equine-assisted therapy, and more)
- After discharging from The Retreat, residents have the opportunity to continue care at one of our group homes.
